We
periodically have openings for people who would like to work as travel
guides on our trips. For our biking trips in France and Italy, we're interested
in people who enjoy dealing with the public and have the following:
- Familiarity with French or Italian culture, from living or traveling
there extensively;
- Conversational French or Italian language skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- First Aid certification;
- Bicycling experience and basic bike repair skills.
Our bike vacations usually last a week each, and new guides typically work
for a period of one to two trips at a time. Longer periods are available
for guides who have experience with us, or with a similar company.
Other
adventure travel guides
We periodically need guides and trip coordinators for hiking, climbing,
diving, skiing, and other trips that we offer. Requirements vary by trip.
Related experience or training from an outdoor organization such as Outward
Bound or NOLS is required. If such guide work interests you, please send
a resume, noting relevant experience and training, and language skills.
