Alyson Adventures offers two gay trips in Italy: One primarily on bike, the other a hiking and walking trip. Choose from one of these vacations.
- The Flavors of Tuscany. Bike in Tuscany, Italy: Bike from Florence, center of the Renaissance, into "Chianti Classico" wine country. A winding, panoramic route takes us to the fairy-tale village of San Gimignano, with its turreted, 12th-century skyline; and on to the crooked streets and palaces of Siena, frozen in the middle ages.
- Tuscan Trails. Hiking in Tuscany, Italy: On this Tuscany hiking week we'll start with a night in Florence, then split our time between two villages, hiking over rolling hills and into oak forests alive with pheasants, fallow deer and even wild boar, past ancient stone villages, churches, and farms.
- Puglia Villa & Biking Experience. Cycling in Puglia, Italy: Bike along the ancient Appian Way and lightly traveled roads through countryside that reflects centuries of pilgrims, soldiers and other travelers. Stay in a villa that has stood since the 14th century, and which has been restored to its ancient splendor by an American with deep family roots in the soil of Puglia.
