Dates and Price:
We don't offer every trip every year, and no departures are currently scheduled for this trip. Our home page will make it easy to locate forthcoming departures of interest.
Prices are per-person, based on double occupancy. Tours often fill up months before departure. We regularly update our travel schedule to show the status of this and other trips.

Travelling Alone?
So are most of the people who travel with us. You do not need to pay extra to travel by yourself. Prices are per-person, and the single supplement applies only if you'd like a room by yourself. For selected trips, including cruises, we will charge half the single supplement if you request a roommate but we can't match you with someone.

Price includes: Group Travel Insurance: Medical, evacuation and baggage insurance for all participants, with waiver of pre-existing conditions. Full details will be sent to those who register for the trip, along with information about cancellation and interruption insurance which can be purchased separately; Transportation: Ground transportation as shown in itinerary; Lodging: Double or single hotel rooms, with private bathroom, as described in itinerary; All breakfasts; many lunches and dinners as described in itinerary; Tips and Taxes: Service charges as imposed by hotels; government taxes; gratuities for included meals; Sightseeing: All sightseeing in accordance with the itinerary, accompanied by English-speaking guides and including all entrance fees; Escorts: The tour is accompanied by an Alyson Adventures tour director and local guides.

Not included: Airfare: transportation between home and Miami; and Miami-Salvador / Ilheus-Rio / Rio-Sao Paulo-Miami flights (check with us for special fares; fares subject to change until ticketing); Airport transfers for individual flights; Meals not shown as being included; Cancellation and Interruption Travel Insurance, which can be purchased through Alyson Adventures or on your own; Brazilian Visa: currently $100 for US citizens, plus any applicable service fees; Excess baggage if applicable; Personal Items: such as laundry, beverages, and individual tips to guides and drivers.
