Bike in southern France

Biking in France's gorge country with Alyson Adventures

It's easy to get to know the other travelers in our small, friendly, gay and lesbian groups.

An active, outdoors vacation with Alyson Adventures.

An exhilarating route takes us first to the turreted medieval duchy of Uzes, through the cliffside tunnels of the Ardeche Gorges, up to the moonlit castle ruins of Vaison-la-Romaine, and to a wine-tasting in renowned Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

The Mistral: Biking in France's gorge country

Here's what previous travelers have said about The Mistral

"Without question, the best vacation I've ever been on."
    —Daniel Buker, Carlsbad, Calif.

"The Mistral trip was a perfect blend of cycling, seeing many places of interest and getting to know a great group of guys. The food, wine and bread were outstanding, too!"
    —Jonathan Bregman, Durham, N.C.

"This was the best birthday present I ever gave myself! Turning 40 on a bike in France sure beats turning 40 at a computer in Boston!"

"It was the best trip any of us had ever taken."
    —Bill Buyok, Los Angeles, Calif.

"Absolutely one of the best trips of my life. I look forward to taking another and another."

"All I had to do was bike, eat and enjoy France in the Spring. Sasha and the other guides took care of all the details - it was wonderful."
